Suzuki Motorcycle India launched its new cruise bike, the Suzuki Intruder 150  to challenge the Bajaj avenger 150. Here’s everything you need to know:

The Japanese automaker has launched its new cruiser motorbike, Suzuki Intruder 150 in India at a price tag of Rs 98,340 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bodywork mileage and specs similar to Suzuki Gixxer. The cruiser motorbikes are very famous in India and Suzuki seems to have made their goals quite clear in India.  Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki has introduced its brand new and modern design in the Indian market. The Suzuki Intruder 150 is crafted with an edge to edge modern design and technology, which will be a game changer for Suzuki in India. But time will say how well will the Suzuki Intruder 150 be accepted by motorbike buyers in India.

The Suzuki Intruder 150 becomes the second cruiser style motorbike in the much popular 150-160cc segment.  The Intruder 150 is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder SOHC engine that powers Suzuki Gixxer. The bike generates 14 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The bike also come mated with a 5-speed  manual transmission (MT). There are some few changes like the gear ratios are different, the exhaust and the airbox are bigger in size when compared to Gixxer. Due to the changes in the engine and body panel, the Suzuki Intruder 150 weighs 8 kg more than Gixxer placed at 148 kg.  The claimed mileage by Suzuki India for the Intruder 150cc is 44 kmpl. The Suzuki Intruder 150 comes with black and grey colour options. The Suzuki Intruder 150 comes with telescopic front suspension and mono rear suspension. The company is also planning to launch the F1 version of the bike soon, expecting within 6-8 months.
