Mercedes is finally closing the chapter of the G-Class and will be starting a new SUV chapter in 2018

German Auto Maker, Mercedes–Benz has revealed the Final Edition of AMG G65 SUV at a price tag of 310,233 euros (Rs 2 crore).  The AMG G65 will not available in India due to its limited numbers, however, buyers can get it imported to the country. The G-Class is the longest-serving Mercedes model, now laid to rest. To make it memorable, the Mercedes-AMG G65 will come with the last edition, called Mercedes AMG G65 ‘Final Edition’. Only 65 units of AMG G65 will be available for sale globally. The Limited Edition AMG G65 gets bronze accents on 21-inch alloy wheels and AMG Sport trims on sides. The bronze theme continues on the inside and a Final Edition badging on the grab handles along with black leather and carbon-fiber trim.

The G-Class or Gelandewagen was introduced in 1979 and has been in production ever since, upgraded with lots of new features to the vehicle, but it famous for its tank-like built and some inherent strengths.

The Mercedes AMG G65 ‘Final Edition’ will come with certain upgradations which will make it look stunning.  Coated with a black and bronze theme all over, there will be a bronze finish on the scuff plates, bumpers, and alloy wheels. The alloy wheels are 21-inch five-twin spoke ones which look extremely sporty.  The front grille and ORVMs also have a bronze finish. The running boards and the exhaust tip are finished in matte black. The black and bronze theme gives it a dashing look and at the same time, the SUV looks really special. This is absolutely a stunning theme for a farewell.

The Mercedes AMG G65 Final Edition is powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 engine., which makes a power output of 621bhp and unearth-shattering torque of 1001 Nm. The V12 engine is capable of launching this nearly 3-tonne tank from 0-100km/h in 5.3 sec, which is awesome. The Mercedes-AMG G65 Final Edition has a water wading capability of two feet. The approach and departure angles of 27 degrees and a tilt angle of 21 degrees helps the vehicle tackle most terrains with ease
