The same blue WagonR which is used extensively by Arvind Kejriwal as “Aam Aadmi Image” during elections.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s famous blue Suzuki WagonR car was stolen on Thursday, Oct -12, from outside Delhi Secretariat. The blue WagonR became famous when Kejriwal started his assembly election campaign in 2015 after forming the Aam Admi Party.
The Suzuki WagonR car was extensively used by Kejriwal in the last few years and later it was shifted to AAP leader Vandana. According to sources, Vandana parked the car near the Secretariat at 11:45 am but when she came out at 2:30 pm, the car was not there. The CCTV footage shows that the car exited the complex at around 1:00 pm.
Delhi Police has registered a FIR for a Suzuki WagonR car with the no DL 9 CG 9769, is registered in the name of Aam Aadmi Party. The car was “donated” to Kejriwal by United Kingdom-based NRI Kundan Sharma in January 2013. However, when Kejriwal parted ways with his then party colleagues Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, Sharma wanted that the car to be returned. The NRI made it clear through a volley of tweets that he was not happy with the rift in AAP.
Sadly, the famous blue WagonR was stolen today. It is still in the name of AAP, but Mr Arvind Kejriwal no longer uses this car. He uses new Toyota Innova car which was given to him for his official use from the government. When the matter was reported to the Mr Arvind Kejriwal, he retweeted a tweet which was directed to Delhi Police, asking – Dyan kidhaar hai.
